These 3 days gorilla trekking Bwindi Experience, delivers a once in a lifetime opportunity to discover mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Heads up the hills of Bwindi in search of these amazing creatures.

As you walk through this thick tropical rainforest, be at one with nature as you listen to the sound of nature and take in the fresh cool air. And as you climb and go deeper into this paradise, Alas! There they are! The amazing gentle creatures! The Mountain Gorillas!

Day 1: Pick Up and Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Depart in the morning after a warm breakfast and our driver will pick you up from your accommodation and then drive to the South West of Uganda for your gorilla trekking adventure.

The drive takes you through central Uganda. Have an en-route lunch at the Igongo Cultural Center and from there you will continue the drive through farmlands onto the rolling hills of Kabale. Reach the late afternoon at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2:  Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point for pre-briefing and thereafter start trekking with the guide to the allocated Gorilla group.

We are proud to inform you that we also organize a memorable Gorilla Habituation experience. On reaching the gorillas, the guide will allow you to spend 1 hour with the mighty creature. The guidelines on how to behave while with the gorillas are given by the guide.

The trek can take 3-9 hours depending on the area where you find the gorillas. It is a real hike and being physically fit is recommended. Indeed, this is an extraordinary feeling to be with these beautiful yet endangered creatures. Retire at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Optional activity is visiting the pigmies.

Day 3: Travel back from Bwindi Forest to Entebbe

After breakfast, you shall drive to Kampala. Our guide will make a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and then continue to have a stop at the Equator for souvenirs.

The guide will then bring you back to starting point or direct to the airport if your flight is late in the evening.
