4 Days Gorilla Trekking Rwanda Safari will provide you with the amazing experience of visiting and having a face-to-face interaction with the great Apes; The Mountain Gorillas of Rwanda. Volcanoes National Park is a world heritage site in North-Western Rwanda. It is most notable for about a quarter of the world’s remaining population of the critically endangered mountain gorillas and this will be the highlight of our safari.

Day 1: Arrival and Pickup

Upon your arrival at the Airport in Kigali, you will be met by a representative from Rangeland Safaris who will welcome you, and brief you through your safari program.

Arriving in the city, you will take a city tour and visit the genocide memorial sites and the traditional markets within Kigali, craft shops, and so on.

We later transfer you to Volcanoes National Park, arriving in the evening and checking in to the service hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Volcanoes National Park

This will be one of the highlights of our safari. After breakfast we will head to the park headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing from the RDB park wardens before starting our main activity, the gorilla trekking within the Volcanoes National Park with the rest of the trekkers.

Your encounter with these men’s closest shy friends will be a highlight of your Rwanda Safari and the experience you will get this day, will be memorable and your safari will be a lifetime to remember.

Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours within this jungle forest and it depends on the movement of these great Apes which is mostly determined by food availability. After this activity, we will retire to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Golden Monkeys Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast at our lodge, we will head to the park headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing from the RDB park wardens.

After the briefing, you will then head for Golden Monkeys trekking in Volcanoes National Park with the rest of the trekkers.

Just like Gorilla trekking, this activity may take some hours in this jungle forest and it depends on the movement of these primates on the previous and that particular day.

After trekking, we will retire to our hotel, for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer back to Kigali and departure
