Day 1: Nairobi -Meru National Park

9 Days Meru Samburu Olpejeta, Pick up from the hotel after breakfast or from the airport on arrival.

After a briefing from our driver guide, you’ll depart and start off your safari driving to the Eastern part of Kenya.

Arrive later in the afternoon and after checkin, you’ll go for an evening sunset game drive sighting different wildlife as you enjoy the beautiful feel of nature.

Return to the camp before dark for dinner and overnight. Dinner & overnight at Ikweta safari camp/similar

Day 2: Meru National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will leave the camp with a picnic lunch. Spend the full day in this beautiful complete wilderness park.

Brilliant on a magnificent scale, the Meru and Kora sister parks feature luxuriant jungles, coursing rivers, verdant swamps, khaki grasslands, and gaunt termite cathedrals all under the sky’s great blue bowl. Little visited and utterly unspoiled, few places are comparable to the remote and rugged atmosphere found here.

You can see Grevy’s zebras, elephants, Bohor reedbucks, hartebeests, pythons, puff adders, cobras, buffalos, and more than 427 recorded species of birds. Enjoy sundowner by the pool or bar, dinner, and overnight at Ikweta safari camp/similar

Day 3: Meru -Samburu

After breakfast leave check out and start off to another beautiful destination. Arrive in Samburu in time for lunch, check-in and have lunch.

Have some time at leisure. 4.30 pm leave for an evening sunset game drive in this unique park with a chance to spot the big five and the special five of Samburu.

Day 4: Full-day Samburu

Wake up call 6.00 am then get out for an early morning game drive in the reserve.

This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lions, Cheetahs, and Leopards roam the vast grasslands in search of their next meal, it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog…whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe-inspiring!

Back at the lodge, enjoy your sumptuous breakfast.

12.30 pm lunch in the lodge then its time at leisure to relax by the swimming pool.

4.00 pm afternoon game drive. Return before dark for dinner and overnight.

Note; you also may decide to leave with a picnic lunch and explore the reserve the whole day returning in the evening.

Day 5: Samburu-Olpejeta

After an early morning breakfast at 0730hrs depart for a morning game drive in the reserve as you exit.

Drive to Nanyuki and get to Olpajeta Conservancy in time for lunch, check-in and settle down for lunch.

An afternoon game drive with a visit to the chimpanzee’s conservancy and Baraka the blind rhino.

Return before dark for dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp/similar

Day 6: Ol Pejeta-Naivasha

An early morning breakfast, check out, and do a game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy as you exit.

The Conservancy boasts of an astounding variety of animals including all the “Big Five” (the endangered black Rhino, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Lion). The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.

Drive through to Naivasha passing through the Thompson Falls to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch relax before leaving for Hells Gate National Park, here you decide to take a walk, cycle, or just relax and drive as you admire the sceneries and the few available wildlife.

Take an evening walk to the beautiful scenic gorges of Hell’s Gate. Leave the back before 6.30 pm and enjoy an evening by Lake Naivasha.

Day 7: Naivasha-Maasai Mara

You can decide to take an optional sunrise boat ride.

After breakfast check out and prepare to leave Naivasha for Maasai Mara. Drive through as you enjoy the beautiful scenic views on your way. Arrive in time for lunch, check-in and have lunch.

Get ready for an evening sunset game drive in this beautiful reserve with the possibility of spotting the big five and other grazers.

Dinner and overnight at the Sentrim lodge/similar.

Day 8: Explore Maasai Mara

You will depart the Lodge/camp in the morning after breakfast for the whole day game drive in the park with picnic lunches from 0800hrs to 1600hrs.

Meanwhile, your full-day game drive will give you a chance to visit the big Mara River where the migration of wildebeest takes place from Serengeti National Park to Masai Mara Game Reserve.

This river has many big Hippos and crocodiles that you will see. Have your picnic lunch then proceed with the game drive as you leave the park heading back to the lodge/camp.

You will have an option to visit the Masai Village at an extra cost.

Day 9: Maasai Mara-Nairobi

Early morning game drives before the main breakfast or a hot air balloon safari. Go back to the camp for breakfast.

Check out and leave Masai Mara for Nairobi arriving late afternoon or early evening.

Later drop off at a Nairobi hotel for an overnight or at the airport.

However this will be the end of the amazing Kenya wild safari.
