Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer out of Kampala getting clear before traffic as we start the 3-day Queen Elizabeth National Park tour.

Make a stopover for coffee and photos at the Equator. Continue on through villages with cultivated areas until the lush green tea estates in a rich green belt before you reach the escarpment with magnificent endless views over Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will have lunch either along the way or at the lodge, depending on time. Check into the lodge and spend the late afternoon taking a village walk or spend the afternoon enjoying a view at the lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Start the day with an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals, including big 5 members, Elephants, buffalos, big cats, lions, and leopards. Also see warthogs, hunchback carnivals like hyenas spotted along the circuits as we drive along, and many more species that are residents of this park. There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the flamingos in the salt lakes at Kasenyi.

After lunch, we get ready for the classic highlights on the 2-hour boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36 km channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward. Here you see land water-adapted hippopotamuses yawning, the national geographical society killing machine the Nile crocodile gaping along the bank, and the savannah version of pigs the warthog- Pumba are hallmark signs in this animal home. With your binoculars along the peninsula, you have a magnificent view of birds and animals like the ever-playing African elephants in the water.

Day 3: Morning game drive and departure

Wake early for a morning game drive, then return to your accommodation for breakfast. Embark on the safari vehicle and drive back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator and lunch in Masaka.  We recommend a late afternoon or evening flight.
