6 Days Tanzania Safari and Materuni Waterfalls

6 Days Tanzania Safari and Materuni Waterfalls is based on camping accommodation for 1 night in each 4 parks. It includes 3 meals per day, camping gear, and mattresses. Sleeping bags, Mosquito nets, 6 Days Tanzania Safari and Materuni, Blankets, transportation, and an English-speaking guide or (Any other language guide).

You will be picked up and dropped off from your hotel in Arusha town. This tour can be done as a private safari or in a group as well as camping or lodge safari.

Day 1. Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will leave the hotel heading toward Tarangire National Park. 2 hours drive (120 km) from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. After completing registration at the Tarangire National Park gate and having a short break for the washroom. The game drive will begin where you will have a full game drive (including lunch inside the park).

Game Drive Highlight

During the game drive, you will have a chance to spot, Big 4 animals. (cheetahs, lions, buffalo, and a large number of giant elephants), baobab trees, climbing African python. Wildebeest, eland, gazelle, impala, zebra, antelope, giraffes, warthogs, and over 550 different bird species

After enjoying a great game drive at Tarangire National Park, you will exit the park and go directly to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Today the safari to Serengeti will start early in the morning soon after breakfast. After breakfast, you will leave the campsite and go directly to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro crater, a 3 h 43 min (143 km) drive up to Naabi Gate (Serengeti’s Gate). After arriving you will take your picnic lunch at Naabi Picnic Site then enter direct to the park for the afternoon and evening game drive.

After enjoying a great game drive at Serengeti National Park, late evening you will go to SERONERA CAMPSITE for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Today the game drive will start during sun rises. After a simple breakfast (cup of Coffee and biscuit), the morning game drive will start at 06:00 am this time Serengeti plain is more active since many animals and birds are awakening, predators hunt prays, omnivores feed on grasses, so this becomes a great time to spot many animals, observe the real adventure such as animal hunting and to take best pictures for good memories.

After a morning game drive, you will drive back to the campsite for a full breakfast then proceed with the game drive till afternoon. Immediately after lunch and a short relaxation, you will proceed with an afternoon game drive till evening.

After enjoying a great game drive at Serengeti National Park, evening you will be driven to SIMBA CAMPSITE located at Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning after breakfast, proceed directly to the Crater floor for a full-day crater tour (lunch included). The Ngorongoro crater in the eastern Great Rift Valley and the extinct volcanic caldera in the northern part of Tanzania. It is found in the western of Arusha town with an area of 162 km2 while the overall Conservation area covers 8292 km2.

Game Drive Highlight

A Ngorongoro Crater is usually open grassland and includes different kinds of animals. Such as leopards, buffalo, zebras, black rhinoceroses, elephants, warthogs, gnu (wildebeests) Thompson’s gazelles, and a larger population of lions. Except for the giraffe, they are not found in the crater because it’s difficult for them to walk due to the steepness of some sides of the crater.

After enjoying a great game drive at Ngorongoro Crater, you will exit the park and go to your campsite/lodge for Dinner and Overnight

Day 5. Lake Manyara National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will leave the Campsite and head toward Lake Manyara National Park. Less than 30 minutes drive (28 km) to Lake Manyara National Park. After completing registration at Lake Manyara gate and having a short break for the washroom. The game drive will begin and you will have the full game drive (including lunch inside the park).

Lake Manyara is ground water forests, bushplain, and algae streaked as well as pink flamingos. Also, lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a large number of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, larger troops of baboons, waterbuck, warthog, small known shy kicks dik dik as well as klipspringer along the ramps of the escarpment.

After enjoying a beautiful game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, you will exit the park and go back to Arusha for relaxation, Dinner, and Overnight at your Lodge

Day 6: Materuni Water Falls

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will depart from the hotel heading toward Materuni Waterfalls, 1 hour drive to Materuni village located at the bottom of Kilimanjaro national park.

You will be able to learn traditions and customs as well as how the local people who are Chagga grow and process the coffee for substance use, you will visit coffee farms pick coffee, and make your own strong coffee locally.

After this tour you will enjoy your picnic lunch and hike for 45 minutes to Materuni waterfalls which are about 80m higher to explore nature and swim, this waterfall is a freshwater drainage from Mount Kilimanjaro.

late evening you will back to your car and drive back to Arusha.
